Home office with a white desk holding a silver Apple iMac, a black coffee cup on a saucer, and numerous notebooks and books. A large black-and-white portrait of a woman hangs on the wall. Shelves contain framed photographs and artwork, and a window lets in natural light, illuminating fresh flowers in a vase.

About Real Life Jump

Real Life Jump is a space for beautiful rooms and real life—before-and-afters, design decisions, the little details that change how a home feels and the stories that unfold inside it.

After 17 years practicing law, I’m stepping into a more creative chapter—one I’ve always made time for in the margins: shaping rooms, refining a vision, learning what works (and what doesn’t), and building a home that feels calm, intentional, and lived-in. I’ve never believed great design is about perfection. It’s about creating spaces that support the way you want to live—spaces that hold your routines, your people and your seasons.

Here you’ll find design inspiration and practical takeaways, along with notes on personal growth, cottage life, my take on motherhood, book recommendations and the ongoing work of choosing a life that feels like yours.

If you’re here for ideas, encouragement, or simply a place to pause and feel inspired, welcome. It’s time to jump into real life. This is the jump.
